KNOW HOW TO VENTURE
OUT IN PARKS/COMPETITIONS
The Programme Guidon is an online training program developed by the Fédération Québécoise des Motos Hors Route (FQMHR) to help young riders practice off-road motorcycling in a safe and responsible manner.
This training is intended for youth under the age of 16 who wish to ride motorcycles in FQMHR-affiliated parks or on closed competition circuits.
The program is structured in progressive levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) that accompany young riders according to their age and progression in the sport.
Through these levels, young riders progressively acquire essential knowledge related to off-road motorcycling, including :
- les safety principles adapted to their progression
- the importance of proper protective equipment
- appropriate behavior on a track or within a riding park
- the rules surrounding safe off-road motorcycle practice
- respect for other riders and for the facilities
The Programme Guidon supports the development of young riders by providing the safety foundations corresponding to the situations they will encounter throughout their riding journey.
