Training
The Act respecting off-highway vehicles (V1.3) says at article 16 :
The only persons authorized to operate off-highway vehicles or maintenance vehicles on a trail, a road, public land or private land belonging to a municipality are persons 16 years of age or over who hold a valid driver’s licence, appropriate to the class of vehicle used, and who meet the requirements prescribed in this division.
To operate an off-highway vehicle in the areas referred to in the first paragraph, a person 16 or 17 years of age must also hold a training certificate attesting that the person has passed the examination or successfully completed the training prescribed by regulation of the Minister.
The Government may, by regulation, provide for exceptions to the requirement to hold a licence.
Training specific to each category of off-highway vehicle is required under the Act. ConduiPRO driving schools is the agent chosen by FQMHR to give the mandatory training. For more information visit their website at conduipro.com or contact them at 418-248-1250 or 1-877-766-3443.
